Hermagor/Nassfeld (600m) evolved into one of the leading wintersports sports in Austria during the last years. Nassfeld Hermagor is set in southwest Carinthia near the Austrian-Italian border and is one of the largest, most attractive and snow-assured ski regions of Austria with 30 state-of-the-art cable-cars and lifts & 110km pistes of all degrees of difficulty. The Millenium-Express, one of the longest gondola cable-cars of the Alps, brings you within just 17 minutes via 6.000m and 1.309 metres in altitude up to the Sonnenalpe Nassfeld. Apart from fun and action you will find many kilometres of winter hiking paths, cross-country ski-trails, spacious natural ice tracks, flood-lit tobaggan runs, curling tracks and horse-drawn sleigh-rides. The NTC Park is a meeting point for all those who translate leisure time with "to be free" and who search for unlimited entertainment up on the mountain and down in the valley. New wintersports like snowtube, snowcycle, airboard, skifox and much more attract even those without snow experience.
