The unique mountain hotel impresses with its car-free location at 2,315m above sea level. It towers over the idyllic Weißsee, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park and is surrounded by 22 mountain peaks and numerous glaciers. During the 20-minute ascent with the gondola lift (daily from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) you conquer 835 meters in altitude - this already makes the journey here an unforgettable experience! Enjoy the tranquility and the surrounding nature in its purest form.
A high-alpine holiday world is revealed in the Weißsee glacier world, which invites you to unforgettable tours for young and old: Walkers will find numerous paths in the vicinity of the middle station at Grünsee, at Weißsee directly at the Berghotel or on the Medelz viewing plateau with an enormous panorama to the famous Dorfertal Kals am Grossglockner. Hikers can look forward to more than 40km of marked hiking trails up to almost 3,000m altitude and mountain professionals look forward to varied, guided glacier tours.
Facilities
In the family-friendly mountain hotel, in addition to the quaint, rustic hut atmosphere, a spacious lobby with reception, cozy lounges, a cozy fireplace bar, a panorama restaurant with several rooms and regional delicacies, a harmonious winter garden and a lift await you. After an eventful day in nature, you can relax on the sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. You can use Wi-Fi in the whole hotel for free. There are free parking spaces at the valley station of the Weißsee Gletscherbahn.
Payable on site: dog EUR 10,- per night. Local tax EUR 1.60 per person/night from 15 years.

The 90 cosily furnished rooms with shower/toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV and WiFi offer a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain peaks or the Weißsee.

Half-board plus: breakfast buffet, in the afternoon from 3 pm to 4 pm "cake buffet all you can eat", 4-course dinner from the buffet with salad bar. Juice bar from 6.30 am to 5.30 pm included.

Entertainment program as posted with e.g. Hut fun or mountain film cinema, 2 x weekly yoga, 2 x weekly guided hikes in the Hohe Tauern National Park, indoor climbing wall on approx. 300m², bouldering wall, table tennis, table football and billiards.
