Location
The Augustine, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Prague is located in the heart of the enchanting city of Prague, just below Prague Castle and right next to the Wallenstein Garden. The Wallenstein Garden, a picturesque Italian-style park, is the second largest garden in central Prague. The highlights of the garden are the artificial stalactite wall and the white and colorful peacocks. Charles Bridge and Prague Castle can be reached on foot in just 5 minutes. The Old Town Square is about a 10-minute walk away. It is approx. 350m to the underground station Malostranská.
Facilities
The luxurious hotel consists of 7 historic buildings. The most important is the 13th-century Augustinian Thomas Monastery, after which the hotel is named. Several practicing monks still live in a separate part of the monastery. The hotel is also directly connected to St. Thomas Church. Special tours of the monastery's premises, which are not usually open to the public, including an ancient library, are available on request.

Rooms
The 101 rooms and suites feature elegant architecture and structure, from the vaulted ceiling and wooden beams to the original doors with decorative ironwork. The timeless room design, inspired by the history of the Augustinian monastery, is equipped with modern furniture in the style of Czech cubism, which was very popular in Prague in the 1920s and 30s. The spacious rooms and suites are equipped with a marble bathroom with bathtub or walk-in shower, bidet and hair dryer, toilet, bathrobe, air conditioning, telephone, large flat screen TV, mini fridge, coffee/tea set, safe and WiFi and offer a fantastic view of Prague, the adjacent monastery church or Prague Castle. Most of the hotel rooms and exquisite suites have been composed of 2 to 3 monastic cells, preserving a piece of the Augustinian monastery heritage. No two rooms are alike and each authentic room has its own legendary secret.
